About this video:

The Queen’s Gambit is the most popular queen’s pawn opening which can lead to all types of positions, ranging from positional to sharp and tactical. After the moves 1. d4, d5, 2.c4, Black has two options: 2…e6 which will lead to the Queen’s Gambit Declined, or 2…dxc4 which is the Queen’s Gambit Accepted. In this video I will show you a very brief overview of each of these opening lines, as well as an opening trap that black can fall into if he tries to hold on to the gambit pawn on c4. With the recent release of the Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit”, I am sure a lot of new and beginner players are curious what this opening is all about. In this short and concise 3 minute video, I will break down the important things you need to know about the Queen’s Gambit! This video’s primary audience is beginner and novice players who have never heard of the Queen’s Gambit before.

  1. wow nice…and all this time i thought it was just a show

  2. Just realized that I forgot to add, how about adding some stuff for when playing as black? Thanks

  3. A video idea: QGD middlegame plans for white? I develop, get a nice looking position visually and then have no idea what to do. That's why I play the English – Botvinnik system instead, it's much more straight forward for me. I would love to understand QG though.

  4. Would love to see a more in-depth video on queens gambit. And if I may request a video on the London System that would be great too.

  5. Ok I seen enough. Iā€™m gonna need to spend some time on this channel. No need for a 35 min on an opening for beginners like most do. Simple concepts and straight to the point are far better.

  6. If black puts his bishop in front of his queen is good for black right?

  7. Great for us Beginner Nelson . All Openings are in less than 3 minutes each
