  1. Coaches commentary is so good and it's so nice to see how invested he is in Levy doing well. Especially when it seems to be in such a constructive and positive way. That is one of the biggest differences in Gotham 2.0 that he is able to see beyond disappointment in bad games and get himself back on track much faster. This attitude in coaching will surely help G to keep developing this better mentality in addition to all the technical coaching. It starts to look completely different compared to the previous GM journey.

  2. Levy has an opening course on that system by black. I am sure he wasn't out of prep at the start, he actually teaches those lines for black.

  3. i'm here after seeing Levy's recap, I want to see the pen flying across the board.

  4. Way to go Levy, I thought at the end of the opening you were toast, Alberto had all his pawns in beginning positions had his pieces in great places and you were almost too far advanced on both sides and feeling pressure on the center, he made 1 bad move and you clonked him in the head for having his pawns undeveloped and all his pieces jammed up.

  5. How is that pseudo-FORK of Kf6 at 2:42:32 "NOT winning"? I would have blown the advantage completely.
    But I'm not 2400.
Clearly my offer to coach Levy yesterday was premature.
Note: Later, at 2:48:15, Kf6 is a brilliant "!!" move.

  6. Alberto: If he plays Qg7 I'm outta here hahahaha immediate resignation

  7. Wow! Levy did pretty well in the Levy tournament

  8. Arturs and Levy combination is so entertaining! i could watch a 5 hour stream without a break ahaah crazy! this is levys best game of the Tourne absolutely beautiful game, much better than the queen sac in my opinon

  9. Levy! so proud of you! I believe in you.
Arturs! you're an amazing coach and you've become one of my favorite chess teachers. really looking forward to more of this journey. i can't believe i watched all 9 rounds start to finish. i've never played a single game of classical chess but I might pick it up sometime.

  10. so excited for the mate he knocked everything over lol

  11. Came here just to see the pencil flip 🙂 Great job, Levy

  12. it's 2:48:43 for the one's looking for levy knocking over the pawns haha

  13. I absolutely love watching these streams with Arturs. So much valuable insight, and I LOVE when he starts doing calculation sequences and we can follow along. It’s nice to see how much he is invested in Levy’s success, the epitome of an excellent coach!

  14. Kg2 also allows, in some variations, Be3, and if Ng4, the bishop has a square to retreat to in g1.

  15. At 1:50:00, all black minor pieces on black's third row, with the pawns still on their second row, make a sad and silly picture. Which makes Kg2 an even better move, it is Levy telling his opponent "your position is awful, please find a move".

  16. Neiksans is amazing!!!! much love to you all. keep the grind Levy!

  17. Each round we think that neiksans would never be able to do worse in terms of broadcast. And each new day he proves us wrong. Red thumb.

  18. I really loved having Artur’s on the livestreams, it made the tournament so much more engaging!

  19. Levy, we need more of GM Neiksans! His passion and clear insights have been fantastic 👏

  20. I appreciate the energy of the coach and keep going levy

  21. This was very fun to listen to! Please continue doing commentary Arturs!

  22. GM Arturs, i hope you will do it again after 2 weeks on levy games. 🫶🏻

  23. I’ve heard of offering a draw… but throwing a pen at the board is wild.

  24. Came here from Levi’s recap and ended up watching the whole video (skipped around just a bit) literally just to see where he fumbled the pen and knocked over the pawns 🤣

What a game by Gotham! Huge congrats on beating such a strong, and decorated player in David
