19:15 what if black plays Ne7 instead? I played this against a bot and it did that to me and I didn’t know what to do.
13:00 Bc3
bishop attacks queen and rock
if black plays b4 we can simply capture with bishop
why does this move doesn't work?
How about the Danish Gambit? Arguably even more fun than the Evan's.
On the last two occasions I played this black declined the gambit and played Bb6. I still won both games but was disappointed the gambit was not accepted.
Did anyone spot a woman in the background around 9.00min? 😀 She be like, better not disturb my husband while he earns us a ton a cash xD
I LOVE how he says "Pulling off this joke would be impossible" as though acknowledging the best move after a thorough analysis 😂
This man is a gift 👌🏻
Man I love the Evan's Gambit, but I find that so many of my opponents don't accept it. Always bummed after b4 and black just retreats the bishop, happens to me all the time tbh
Very much like
You know what I hate most. All these players you're teaching to be good. So stop it… Plz…
Triple vision of one of my fav youtube content creators- more like it 👍
One of the most HUMBLE comments, I've EVER heard!!! "
"If you're a stronger player, you're probably not watching this video.. why would you?"
Let THAT sink in……
I dont know, I think Bruce Lee said it best, "I fear not the person who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the person who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." I feel the same is true with chess openings that we only need to play 1-2 not learn them all.
Great videos on Evans Gambit thank you! I'm hooked on playing it now 🙂 #suggestion with your love of Evans Gambit and Mikhail Tal, how about videos on his Evans Gambit games? Apologies if I've missed them, but I don't see them listed here in your links to Evans Gambit games by grandmasters. I'd love to see you cover Tal's win as black vs Klovans at Riga 1951 which is brilliant in defence; also Tal's winning attack playing white vs O'Donohue at London, 1964 is sorcery in the spirit of the gambit of which I imagine Evans himself would surely approve!
What about 6.d6 instead of exd4 in the main line? it seems to effictively counter the gambit
Hello sir
You mentioned about a book called "Theory of Openings" in one of your videos.
Can you please share the link to download or buy it
One of the few gambits that I do not consider free elo when I face it
Great video!Very solid analysis with few but most representative ideas of the opening!Thanks Agadmator!
Stockfish vs. Alpha Go on Evans Gambit: The first time chess engines trolled their programmers.
After rewatching it for the second time after about a span of a year+, I can claim that this is by far the most elaborative video over the Evan’s Gambit. Great job man.
Gonna talk about an opening… Sorry bout that
~~~~Thanks Agad~~~~
I watched the whole video
😊👍 ,,,, ❤️Loved this video
I will watch this again
Much better than the "Remote Chess Academy" on the Evans Gambit. Better helps you understand the analysis and defense.
please show some nore openings 💛💛
"You won't win a lot against high skilled played, but, yeah, against people in your own skill"
the shade….
I just watched agadmator playing with himself!!
going over all these options but missing the italian gambit, my go to opening. But maybe better to keep it on the low 🙂 Evan's gambit looks interesting as well but the stoneware (bishop d6 after capturing the pawn) is a great defense to prepare as black, and I used it with great succes. So I'm tentative to start playing it as white..
I just played this opening for the first time and I was doing good until my opponent was attacking me on the kingside and I made one bad move on move 21 and the game fell apart and I lost horribly.
16 mn 16 s : Txe8 + au lieu de cxd4. D ou Rxe8. Maintenant cxd4. De1 + Ff1.
C'est une autre partie. Cette variante est mieux pour les Blancs
5:44 What happens here if black goes Bxf2 before you castle?
Just came here to increase views. 1 drop to fill Ocean. 🙏🏼❤️
Smh he didnt cover bishop to a3.
"And this is where the game starts."
agadmator at 22 mins mark
Great lesson!
This is where the fun starts- Anakin skyw ooops Agadmador
13:28 Ba3 wins a rook But you don't want to lose to pieces
Fast forward to 1:55
Hello, and thank you for all you do, love the videos! I have a question: at 13:26 , after that position, what if white plays Bishop to E3 ??
at 13:25, cant you play bisshop a3?
Do you think this gambit is better for white then the traxler variation? When white knows he has to play king f1… but gets the rook
Agadmator: I don't like empty space.
Volume of a hydrogen atom: 99.9999999999996% empty space.
My opponent accepted the gambit with his knight and then went knight d3. What?! Seems that my best move is to capture with my bishop, but now I lose a tempo. Is knight d3 a good move for black?
video too long
"If you are a stronger player you are probably not watching this Video because why would you?"
Not sure what counts as stronger player but Evans Gambit works just fine for me against ~2000 rated opponents.
I don't see why it would be a beginner opening.
Up to maybe 2200/2300 rating it's perfectly fine.
You probably only start feeling the small objective flaws at Grandmaster level.
What about Hein Countergambit?
At 16:20 why not take bishop with room
Don't kill the time
Woman appears 8:55
I think they should ban certain openings for major tournaments. I like wanna resign when I sit down and my opponent plays the ruy Lopez. I get my hopes up when we play guico piano….. I pray for Evans gambit…. But it never comes up. Although once me and my mate were playing in a tournament and he smiled and offered me evans gambit. He knows I love it and I always complain that it is never played anymore. We drew.
