  1. i had a question about 3:48: why wouldn’t queen just take the knight after moving knight B5? seems like a free piece to me since there isn’t any way to defend the knight, and rook had not moved over to B yet.

  2. I've been using this opening, and it's SO good… you do have be wary of opening yourself up to a queen side pawn push though.

  3. I played a cheater yesterday night … turned him in …lol

  4. I watch a ton of YouTube, in particular I enjoy people who are smarter than me. Sometimes a lot smarter. Never am I more aware of this than when watching Gothamchess.

  5. This video is older than my chess career😂

  6. Now that am starting to watch your vidéos I have your voice in my head when I play chess
"Cz If he takes I take !!"
""Dont take the pawn just yet, and ill tell you why "

  8. Hi there! I know how to play chess. But I suck at Opening to Middle game transition as I have never played following analysis! Please suggest me books to improve. It is better initially if I find the stuff on paper!

  9. The position after sacrificing the rook, you said it's totally dominating for white but I pasted this position to stockfish15 (latest edition) n it end up with a draw (Com. V Com.). The depth was average too.

  10. Sir due to break in this it will lead to structural break ….

  11. Literally lose every game when I play this way or any of these guys videos tbh, I think everyone just plays based on how this guy teaches so you go to try any of these techniques and you get absolutely destroyed

  12. I play against my friend every Sunday over coffee.
When I lose a game, I have no way of checking my errors. So i am not getting better against him.
Would like to analyze our games to see where our mistakes happened.

    1. What is the easiest way to record the games?
    2. How do I analyze the games?
    3. Should i use a chess engine/program? Which is best?
    4. Where and how do I get a chess engine?
    5. Is there a step-by-step method that explains how to input the games into the analyzer?

I have improved considerably watching your videos, but still have more to grow…
Thank you for posting your chess videos!

  13. I'm going to follow what you said in the London system

  14. Watched this video from Bulan, Sorsogon, Philippines.

  15. Thank you so much! I am the worst chess player on the planet. I started playing when I was eight, now I am 48. I play a few times a year against friends, sometimes I win, most often I lose. I never trained any tactics, this was the first time I tried it! After your video I won against the computer, and it was so easy!! 😁

  16. Is there another name to the London system? I bought a book about chess openings, but I can’t find the London in it

  17. Boring position. When they say lazy they mean it

  18. Brisbane, Australia. Used to play casual chess when I was young but with my son taking a liking to it. I'm getting back into it and never thought of learning all the openings and game play. It is challenging and fun playing against adaptive AI. I've been watching different videos on YouTube by various and enjoying learning. Thanks for putting in the effort.
