  1. I am really appreciating the detail in your videos. I'm a beginner (my rating is 412!) and I keep making blunders and mistakes, even when I think I've thought things through thoroughly. A lot of the other creators I've been watching go too quickly through the moves for me to really grasp the concepts/principles. You don't do that, even though it's clear you could win very quickly, you still go through all the steps and possible move sequences. Thank you โค๏ธ

  2. 4:03 QG5, hit 2 pieces, first the rook. then bishop if bishop takes rook. prevents the white queen from going to H5 and the Q/R fork.

  3. @25:25 there was a nice knight fork checking the king and winning the queen there

  4. 3:14 I searched the account of the opponent RaedNaif and found the game he played against you. He's still 516 elo and yours is 2204 ๐Ÿ˜‚

  5. @25:15 I saw a fork that would have gotten you their Queen! Ng5! (Of course, that's easy to spot when you are not the one under fire.)

  6. 18:50 yesitmatter blundered. If he moved Qh4 he would have been threatening a checkmate in your h pawn

  7. The secret to 500 ELO chess is to secretly be a 2000+ ELO player….

  8. Loveee loveee your content ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. I am 500 elo but waitching some of ur video i am now 1098 elo thank u

  10. The best chess teacher on the internet, by far, explaining his thoughts on moves and strategies is brilliant, great for us less gifted players.

  11. u forgot the knight fork giving u the queen

  12. in min 25:16 u can play Ng5 and go for check and take black queen with knight

  13. Hi i'm new to chess, decided to start playing so i could play my grandson who has just started, i've watched lots and lots of examples so i can, and have, improved but you are above and beyond any i've watched, i'm learning so much. Thank you. x

  14. Thank you for the great video, liked, and subscribed!

  15. In game 5 Nelson missed a king and queen fork on g5

  16. Even beginners need compressed information.
1 minute to defend a simple "oh i see, ohh I move" attack
Surprised you opened with lines and then daffed off.
    Great video for beginners.

  17. bro game 5 he had the chance to fork the queen stopping the mate in the process but he just does a rook move ๐Ÿ’€

  18. Donโ€™t know if youโ€™ll get this but thank you very much for this video! Ive never actually studied chess before but recently I was presented with a video of Magnus Carlsen World Championship chess matches and now I got motivated to play more competitively. You took my game from 1003 to 1263 just today! (Rapid 30min games only!) this seriously opened my mind to different positionings, like the London (my favorite right now) and to other option like the bishops to g2,g7,b2,b7. Canโ€™t remember what itโ€™s called but I used it in at least 2 of the four games.! And just watching you play and explaining how you think, mostly, has made my game way different. Iโ€™m far more open-minded to the possibilities I have. I still have a hard time considering what my opponent is trying to attempt to do and Iโ€™m not brave enough to make power players for pawns, yet (lol), but my game has seriously improved! Thank you!
P.s. maybe Iโ€™ll take the time to learn and try a โ€˜gambitโ€™

  19. at 39:38 what about rook d3? It allows for checkmate with Bh6 with the only blocking move being Pawn f3 after rook d3.

  20. 23:18 white knight should check king and steal blacks queen ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฟโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  25. 25:30 man how you missed the knight check also attacking the queen

  26. 16:12 Ng4 would have defused the attack and bring black in trouble

  27. very nice explaination, i need more of that stuff pls
games fast and u learn a lot of tactics, instead of 1 or 2 tactics than a usual video of this channel
    Thx so much ๐Ÿ™‚
