  1. So yesterday I tried steps one and two, but my opponent started attacking with her knight right away and took a knight and my queen. I was able to come back and win, but I felt I did something wrong in positioning all these pieces out. Any advanced thoughts on this further development?

  2. You fall into quite some stereotypes but once you open your mouth, it's a great relief lol

you guys should have like a competition like; you train one person for chess; a newbie LIKE ME! and then some of the other chessables train their candidate and then the pupils meet in a match to bring honour to their houses, ITS like a crazy KungFu Chess battle for the honour !

  25. 8:18 you could have NC6 to take the Bishop and had check then pawn. Thank you for the tips!

  26. Whenever a woman speaks information she usually refers the the mystery opponent as “them or they or their” Which is very refreshing seeing we don’t know who the opponent is. Usually when men make these videos they always refer to the opponent as a “he” and it’s weird.

  27. Castle before you attack – so are you ready to attack after castling even if a knight and a bishop are not developed yet? or should you develop all pieces first and castle after?

  28. Rather than "learning" or remembering opening — these principles will help you out quite a lot. Once you start to really learn why these principles are important — after a couple months of regular play — then you can start to put openings to memory. And if things go sideways you have your foundation of these principles to keep pressure and ideally the win.

  29. I used the first strategy and instantly lost my queen

  30. For learning in prison I feel like I know quite a lot.. ima try this rating thing 😅
